Your Fishing Charter

Based out of Point Pleasant, Sligo Sportfishing is your ticket to a memorable time on the water.

Come on aboard with Capt. Anthony and Capt. KC, whose main priority is to get you on some fish. Expect to use techniques like bottom fishing, trolling, jigging, popping, and spinning, based on the species you're targeting. Speaking of which, you have the option of 5 to 8-hour trips, where you'll be fishing for the likes of Flounder, Bass, Bluefish, Seabass, Tuna, and Common Ling, depending on the specific season and the day's weather.

You'll be fishing from a 40' Willis Beal boat with enough room for up to 6 anglers at any single time. It also includes a toilet, AC, and ice-box. Possibly one of the only charter boats in the NJ area with a Seakeeper Gyro Stabilizer.

When it comes to rods, reels, and terminal tackle, everything you need is included in the price. As for fishing licenses, everything will be taken care of by the captain so you don't have to worry about it. You're welcome to keep all legal species caught during the trip.

There will be a first mate on board to help you with anything you need. Tips for good service are always appreciated. Children (5 and up) are welcome aboard so you’re good to get the young ones started early.

SUMMER INSHORE SPECIAL AFTERNOON

Join us for the world-class Striped Bass fishing the New Jersey coast has to offer.  Whether we have to troll, jig, or use live bait. We will do our best to get you on the fish! The trip lasts 6 hours. Includes Fishing license, ice, bait, rods, reels & tackle needed. Free bottled water is provided and but we encourage you to bring whatever food or beverage you desire.

3/4 Day Trip – Striped Bass

Whether we are trolling for inshore Blues or Bonito, or even Fluke and Seabass fishing, It's a perfect trip to enjoy 5 hours on the water!
Includes Fishing license, ice, bait, rods, reels & tackle needed. Free bottled water is provided and but we encourage you to bring whatever food or beverage you desire.

Half Day Trip

Join us aboard tbe SLIGO 2, as we target the rough coastal bottom to bucktail big doormat fluke!  This is not a begginers trip!  We are more than open to teaching you how to target these fish. But it takes a bit to get it down!  Feel free to bring your own rods and bucktails and especially gulp.   Everyone has a color preference.  We keep the boat supplied with most colors!
