Hey folks, I'm Captain Jake Nickol. I am a Florida Native Born and Raised in Pinellas County. I have been fishing our local waters since about the time I could walk. First on docks and piers like the Redington Long Pier and Skyway fishing pier, then wade fishing the flats of the bay, I saved up my pennies and eventually got a kayak and an old 14' fiberglass boat to explore the bayous and backcountry waters. After graduating college I began working for a local seafood company running a commercial fishing boat for grouper and snapper and earning my Captain's License. I now run inshore and nearshore fishing charters sharing my lifelong passion for fishing and our world-class fishery with my guests! I look forward to sharing a day on the water with you soon!

A wonderful day of fishing!

Captain Jake is a treat to the fishing world. He was full of local knowledge and good stories of his own. Not only did we catch more than I expected, we got to see dolphins and was visited by a curious sea turtle. We will be planning a longer trip as soon as we can.
