Captain Scott Green owns and operates Rodbender Fishing Charters in Sarasota Florida. He grew up in Iowa and fished many years in Canada with his father and twin brother. When he arrived in Sarasota in December of 1982, he started fishing Sarasota Bay. As he fished with his friends and neighbors they told him he should become a professional fishing guide. Well he did just that. The last 34 years Captain Scott has had the best fishing of his life in the Sarasota Bay and the Gulf of Mexico area. Now he loves showing visitors the thrill of saltwater fishing. Captain Scott loves to have kids on the boat; he always has fun when the kids are having fun. The look on a little girl or boys face when they bring that big fish in the boat and show it to you is priceless, but the look on your faces is priceless to him.

Father & Daughter Fishing
Scott was very knowledgeable and kind. His desire to share his fishing techniques and stories made the 4 hour trip fly by. We caught plenty of fish, and had some dolphins follow us, while going back toward the boat ramp. My daughter can't wait to come back and do it again. Thanks Scott!

Awesome!
Caught a few but was too small to keep. However it was a beautiful Feb 4th and my wife and I had a great time fishing on ou 25th Anniversary. The Captain was awesome.
