Boca Grande is known to be one of the premier fishing spots in Florida, which is one of the premier fishing spots in the world. Tarpon Tamer Fishing Charters will take you to the hottest fishing spots in the gorgeous local waters and put you on the hottest bite around, so get ready for a fight of a lifetime!

Join Captain Phillip Haley on board their 24’ center console, manufactured by the Avenger company. She’s powered by a beast of an engine, a 300 HP Suzuki. That allows you to travel across the water at a maximum cruising speed of 50 knots, you’ll waste no time traveling! A wireless trolling motor and live bait well are on board to give you an edge in catching that trophy fish. Don’t worry about fighting a huge Tarpon or Shark, a fighting chair is there to give you added support.

You will target a variety of prestigious fish that live in the area, like the famous Silver King, Permit, Goliath Grouper, as well as Bull and Hammerhead Sharks. You’ll have the chance to try out a variety of fishing techniques, like spinning, jigging, bottom fishing, and trolling, all while using light and heavy tackle. Live bait is available and can be prepared in advance. 

There’s no minimum age policy with Tarpon Tamer Fishing Charters. Anglers of all ages and skill levels are invited to join this exciting fishing adventure! The first mate will clean, fillet, and bag your catch for you. He works for tips only, so gratuity is greatly appreciated. The charter will provide you with all required equipment. Customers are advised to bring sunscreen, polarized sunglasses, adequate clothing, and a waterproof camera.

For the angler who can't get enough fishing done in 8 hours – spend 12 hours fishing the fantastic waters of Boca Grande! Target the most prestigious fish that reside here, like Tarpon, Permits, Bull and Hammerhead Sharks. You will be supplied with all the necessary equipment.
