The waters south of South Africa are known to be fantastic fishing grounds for a variety of gorgeous local species. St Francis Safaris Fishing Charters builds up on that amazing foundation – you just have to join them and see why this area has earned its fishing reputation!

You will fish from their outstanding 30’ long boat, manufactured by Christy Cat. She’s powered by twin Yamaha engines, providing a total of 250 HP to propel you across the deep blue. She’s quite spacious too, allowing for up to 14 anglers to fish. A set of outriggers is on board, so you can widen your reach when trolling. Comfort isn’t ignored either, as you have a toilet, kitchen, and other amenities to help you rest up between exciting fights. Air conditioning is also available in the cabin.

Captain Tim Christy will be your guide and assistant on this exciting fishing adventure. He’s an avid teacher and can cater to any angler, from the first-timers to the experienced sea wolves. He’ll take you fishing for a variety of local species such as the Geelbek, Kob, Garrick, Snoek, Mahi Mahi, Yellowtail Amberjack, and Yellowfin and Skipjack Tunas. You’ll have the chance to try out a variety of fishing techniques with him like popping, jigging, spinning, and drift fishing with light or heavy tackle, fly fishing, bottom fishing, handline, or trolling. 

The crew will clean and fillet your catch, so gratuity is very appreciated. The charter will supply you with all required equipment. The boat is disabled accessible and St Francis Safaris Fishing Charters invites anglers of all tastes and skill levels to join them!
