I love fishing with our charter customers but some days we are not booked yet we still go fishing and check what is out there. This blue marlin decided to slam our lure just 2.5 miles outside of the harbor while on the way back coming in 10 min before sunset. She give us a very good fight and showed stubborn attitude while leadring. It came to be lb 230 and it was shared it with our community. When you love to fish you just go fishing cuz you can never catch em from the couch or from IG posts.. they are out there and thatโ€™s where we love to go.

On July 27 we were blessed with big tuna and on the way back we got a 75lb marlin. Its a tye tradition to cut the first big Tuna of the season and share it wity friends n family. Our customer was traveling the next day and he couldnโ€™t take any fish. We stayed late and cut the Tuna. We also send the Marlin to the auction to sell it. Next morning the customer texted me and said he have noticed a homless camps and lots of homeless on the area and he wanted to share some of the fish with them. We loved that!!!! My crew and i drove to town and the marlin for whatever mysterious reason didnt sell at the auction this morning. We had to negotiate taking the marlin back and we did !! Later this afternoon we delivered the marlin to the homeless camp and its probably going to feed many many people. The tuna was cut and shared with 19 families. As a captain and a fisherman its always good to put in prespective that fishing is great but fishing existence was because people need food on their tables. While we get to fish and have a lot of fun lets always make sure to ground ourselves to share and put the food on as many people as we could possible do. My crew and I are humbled to be part of those who serve the community and bring food to the table also humbled to share so many good memories with our customers. Fishing and catching are two different things. Some days we work hard all 12h and catch maybe 1 fish or sometime the fish simple donโ€™t want to bite. Other days fish bite right away. These two nice fish came in a custom 4h trip as we bottom fished for 1h then we started trolling at 4:30pm .. soon after we worked in area that we know the Ahi may bite at. The big tuna took the lure and went deep. 30min later the fish was caught and our customers were very happy. We start make way back home and as the sun going down the marlin took another lure. Customers fought the fish, we got in and the day was called awsome fishing and catching day.

Some days the tuna just dont want stop biting.. as much as we love this event.. this doesnโ€™t happen everyday and so many factors had to align for this to happen.. when this โ€œtuna timeโ€ happens oh boy everyone is busy .. blood everywhere and everyone busy either reeling a fish or watching another one biting the lines.
