Went out on 12/3/23 with a group of 4 guys.  We caught several Sea Bass and Trigger fish. About 25 keepers in total. Also caught a few vermillion and some snappers we had to throw back. Saw a few Cobia as well but missed out on catching those.

All in all a fun trip and Chris is a great guide and Captain. He made our experience fun and stress free which is exactly what we hoped for. Highly recommend you go out with Chris and the Sweet Lips Fishing charter

We had an incredible time with Captain Chris. I was not expecting to fish for some of our live bait, but it was a fun way to start off the day. After about 20 minutes of fishing we had all the live bait we needed for the whole day. Once we got to the first main fishing spot I caught a 20 pound red snapper within seconds of my line hitting the bottom. I wish it was in season so I could have kept it. One of the best highlights of the day was fishing next to the deserted raft we saw floating 50 miles off shore. We had to have caught 10-15 Mahi with 3 of them being large enough to keep. They were basically jumping in the boat. At the end of the day we caught a few 3-4 foot sharks which were pretty exciting. We didn’t catch it but a 7-8 foot hammerhead chased my bait back to the boat. After the trip was over, Captain Chris fileted and skinned all of the fish for us and even split it up into separate bags for the 5 of us. I’m looking forward to going fishing with them again.

I booked this charter at the last minute and there was availability. Captain Chris told me that they try to make it out, but if not, they would do inshore fishing and bay fishing. My son and his four friends I had a great time fishing with captain Chris they said he was very knowledgeable and got them on the fish. Thank you captain Chris, for making my son’s birthday one to remember and we will most definitely be back.

Chris was a fantastic host!  We had such an amazing time.  His knowledge of the area, relaxed approach, and great personalty is what really made this trip special.  At the end of the trip, Chris prepared some of our fish and then my son and I headed to a local restaurant where they made them for our lunch.  Next time we come to Jacksonville, we’re fishing with Chris!  Thank you for an unforgettable experience Chris!

Captain Chris, who is the local jax Beach, Mayport, knowledgeable. I caught as many fish as I could stand plus a 30 minute fight with the bar shark check out my video it will show it. I’m at Florida. Gulf coast to local that will never go with anyone else. Thanks again Captain Chris for the knowledge conversation and overall fun with only a half day trip. I plan on coming back for a longer offshore big fillet fishing.
