Captain Dave put us on a good trout bite right away in the morning, but then the bayou shut down. It didn’t seem like anyone was doing much good. Dave put in extra time and at the end of the day found a honey hole of Bull Redfish that we hammered them in. The trip was a blast, and left with a nice pile of fish. Highly recommended.

We finally got a clear day after snow and sleet. It started out cold in the am,but Dave hunted down a warmer spot where the fish were more than ready to dine. We caught our limit,released all but a few good eats, and fished until we had to depart. This is what makes it worthwhile-excellent crew who communicate really well about conditions ahead of time;great boat that is smoothe and fast for getting to a good spot;willingness to work through logistics that fit our schedule.
