My son & I had a fantastic time with Hold’em Sportfishing aboard their kings full vessel. Captain Greg kept us informed before the charter of weather conditions, license requirements and target fish species. The boat was very comfortable and we felt super safe at all times, even in the late season, October waves! Captain let my son pick out a few of the lures to use, shared some great stories, as well as the fun games of which line will hit next! There was also some competition between the lines that Captain Greg & first mate, Cathy set up - which Cathy did win!!! And, we caught some great fish - first lakers for both my son & I, as well as some salmon! Looking forward to a future charter!

I can’t say enough good things about Hold ‘Em Sportfishing and there isn’t enough space here for me to cover everything that made the experience so awesome. I brought my two kids and my friends three kids out for a 5 hour trip, which was the perfect amount of time for kids under 10.

We hooked 16 fish on the day and landed 11 which is pretty darn good with a bunch of kids. We caught king salmon, Coho salmon, a massive brown trout and rainbow trout / steelhead. Captain Greg and his wife Kathy were the nicest people you could ask for and were amazing with the kids. They answered all of their questions, were patient, accommodating and weren’t the least bit bothered by the food crumbs left on the deck.

This was the first type of experience fishing for all of the kids and they didn’t stop talking about it until they fell asleep finally. I will 100% be booking again with Hold ‘Em and won’t even bother trying another boat in Milwaukee because I don’t think anyone else could hit the standard they set.

Took our 13 y/o daughters for their first time out on the big lake and had a great time! We booked an afternoon trip. The bite was so-so, but to no fault of Captain Greg- we marked plenty of fish, just a slow day for bites (that’s fishing!).  We were still able to haul in enough nice fish for a few meals. More importantly for us, captain and first mate (Kathy) were great people, and great to fish with.  The trip was educational, relaxing, and fun!  Our girls are now hooked, and cannot wait for the next trip!

Well we’ve been saying “it” for years now, and regrettably never pulled the trigger on “it” until last weekend. I decided to stop the dreaming or talking of “it” chatter and finally made the appointment to take the family fishing. With luck on my side I found a great charter boat with great folks running the show. Kids had a blast and even grandpa. Now the freezer is stocked with tons of very valuable real nature raised food!!
