Blue skies, light breeze, and water so calm itโ€™s like fishing on glass โ€” if glass had redfish, trout, and snook stacked up like theyโ€™re waiting in line for free bait. Light tackleโ€™s been the name of the game, and the rods have been bending more than a yoga class. Every castโ€™s been a gamble between โ€œjust one more fishโ€ and โ€œI really shouldโ€™ve brought more snacks.โ€ If youโ€™ve been waiting for the perfect time to hit the waterโ€ฆ this is it. Fishing Report โ€“ Big Fish Bites Are On! ?? The river has been on fire this week with some serious heavyweights hitting the deck. Big redfish have been stacked up and feeding hard, giving anglers drag-pulling battles thatโ€™ll leave your arms burning and your grin ear to ear. Several bulls in the 40+ inch range have been caught and released, and weโ€™ve also been seeing some monster drum mixed in.

? Big Red Fishing Report โ€“ Straight from the Tannic Water Hotline ? Well folks, the big reds are out here acting like theyโ€™ve got a reservation at the dinner table, and guess what? Weโ€™re serving hooks and good company. These fish have been cruising the flats like teenagers at the mallโ€”traveling in packs, showing off, and making questionable life choices. Weโ€™ve had rods bending, reels screaming, and anglers looking like they were auditioning for a strongman competition just to get these brutes to the boat. One guy swore he was only โ€œlightly sweating,โ€ but Iโ€™m pretty sure he lost three pounds of water weight wrestling a redfish that could double as a small submarine. - Captain Austin

Early morning and late evening have been the hot windows, with drag-screaming runs and plenty of sore arms to go around.
