We really enjoyed our trip with Rip Current.  Those folks are good people that made our experience one to remember.  They put us on fish at multiple locations and we quickly got our limit of Red Snapper, and then we caught a few other things including a Bull Shark.  We had young kids on the boat and they accommodated them with patience and excitement. We plan to book again next year!

The Captain knows where to find the fish! We jumped from spot to spot catching fish fast. If we stopped and the fishing wasn’t great he did waste time moving to the next location. The deckhand stayed busy the entire trip, keeping everyone’s line in the water. He made short work of cleaning the fish when we arrived back at the dock. All around great trip.

A group of 7 of us went out on the Rip Current and it was a blast. The Captain knew of several spots for us to catch fish, and we reeled in 30+ that day. We hit our limit of Red Snapper, and then moved onto trolling where we caught some other species as well! It was a great time and we are already talking about going on another fishing trip. Highly recommend.

Captain Seth was great. 1st mate was awesome. Boat was very nice. Crew worked hard to put us on some fish we could keep but the weather was terrible. High winds. cold temps. day after a cold front. Snapper season was closed. not a good choice by us not the crew’s fault. would definitely use riptide again and recommend for others just not this time of year.

Two families embarked on the Gulf for a day of fishing… we pulled in MANY Red Snapper! It was so nice to have all the necessary equipment & knowledge from Paul (our guide) to bait & remove our catch as we got to do the ‘fun part’ of reeling them in!! We opted for the four hour excursion, it was just enough for our crew ranging in age 7 years to 14 years. We packed a lunch & made great memories!!
