My family had a great time fishing with Capt Cory.  Great guy, very friendly.  We bite was very slow but that was not his fault.  He took to spots I had fished before and done well.  We did try several spots, can’t make them bite.  Will fish with Capt Cory again.

My son, daughter and I took a 5-hour trip with Cory. It was originally scheduled for the morning, but due to weather he changed it to the afternoon which was fine. It was a very difficult fishing trip to say the least. A major storm had passed through the area just 2 days prior and the fish were very tight lipped. We wanted to catch Kings so we trolled for several hours with no luck. With about 1 hour left in our trip we finally caught some blues trolling but it was tough all-around. Listening on his phone and radio, nobody else was catching anything either. Cory did all he could. I guess the highlight was a dolphin came right up to the boat as we were bringing in a smaller fish thinking we would toss it to him. He was so close we could have touched him. Overall we would use Cory again as he did all he could to get us on fish.

Cory was an awesome captain.  It was very obvious he is extremely experienced both driving the boat and finding the fish.  It took us a little bit to stop “setting the hook” like back home, but once we did we caught quite a few fish.  My family had a great time and would definitely book again.

My son and I did a half day trip w/ Captain Cory and had a great time.  My son doesn’t have a whole lot of fishing experience, but Cory had him pulling in snappers in no time.  He was very patient and really helped make the experience a positive one.  I would definitely hire him for a trip again.  My son’s take on the day is below.

Cory was an incredible fishing guide. I went on a trip with my dad, who is much more into fishing than I am. Going in, my expectations were not very high. We got out to one of the fishing spots, and the fish weren’t biting. Cory then took us to another spot further out into the Gulf, and immediately we started catching fish. We ended up catching our limit of red snappers about halfway through the trip, as well as some other fish throughout. I was so glad I did this trip and Cory was a huge part in that. I am not a big fishing guy, and my dad is super into it, and Cory was a great fit for both of us. His character and expertise make fishing trips enjoyable for people of all skill levels.

Pick and launch was extreme fast as Cory was prepared and waiting. Though we did experience some delay while waiting for as the dock/marina was undermanned. Cory did amazing to put us on the fish and and even helped my daughter bring in a few. We did see several dolphins and even a sea turtle! Over all it was a great time for my family and I! We are definitely doing it again!
