My buddy and I have done a lot of different fishing over the years, but have never tried fishing flats for bonefish or tarpon. There’s definitely a learning curve as it is more spot and stalk than just dropping or dragging a line, but if you are looking for a great experience doing something new this is it. Captain Randy gave us plenty of opportunity at some big tarpon and was patient with our inexperience. Needless to say, I’ll be back! Just seeing a fish like that made the trip worth it.... More

Based on the fishing lunar apps I have, today was gonna be a tough one.  So, we knew that going into it.  But, the Lunar fishing app does not account for Captain Randy!  He was EXTREMELY and very helpful with helping my son and I dial in our fishing skills!  We learned a lot!  Caught a good variety of fish!  And saw A LOT of wildlife we don’t get in Minnesota!  Highly recommend fishing with Captain Randy!!!  We hope to be back as well!  Thank you Captain Randy for an amazing adventure!

First time I tried this and it may be an acquired taste.  It can be boring as you are poled along trying to see if there are fish on the bottom.  I like casting and reeling more.

It was a slow day of fishing but we did catch some fish. Sight fishing for notoriously spooky fish like bonefish and permit definitely took some time to get used to. The boat was pristinely clean and Captain Randy is a good guy. Seems very knowledgeable and helped us along. I would go fishing with him again.
