This was our first time fishing the North East. We are so glad to have found Matt and Pat. They are knowledgeable, passionate and really cared about the guest experience! Our family of four loves to fish and be on the water. This was a phenomenal afternoon. The captains educated on where we were, what we were looking for and most importantly cheered the boys on when they were reeling in mackerels and stripers. We cannot say enough great things about the time we spent on their boat. Look no further than these two as they are fantastic humans, great fisherman and even better captains. We sure do hope to be back on their boat in the future!

I could probably write a small novel about how great our experience was on our recent fishing trip with Captains Patrick and Matt and Eastern Ambitions. From the first booking communication through to post-trip follow-up, this team was attentive and informative and made sure that every aspect of our trip was as good as it could be. And honestly, this trip was perfect. My two teens absolutely loved the hours on the water getting to learn to fish in a variety of different ways and were so happy with their catches and it brought me so much joy getting to watch them as well as take part in some fishing myself.

My kids said that the best part of the trip was how cool and easygoing Patrick and Matt are, how they are so open and comfortable and how they talked with them and taught them about boat navigation, the ebbs and flows of the water and how and where to find the best fishing spots and the other nuances that go into fishing. It was so so much more than just taking a ride out on a boat and dropping out some fishing lines. We left our trip excited and looking forward to the next excursion that we will take out with Eastern Ambitions! Thank you so very much for creating a memorable and amazing day out on the waters for us!

What an AWESOME trip!  They were ready to go as soon as we arrived to the boat launch.  They explained everything they were planning to do on the way out to catch some mackerel.  It wasn’t easy but they found the mackerel and then a quick jaunt over to the mouth of the Merrimac.  We caught a bunch of Stripers.  If you know what you are doing they will stand back but whenever you need help they are right there to bait the hook or untangle a line or net the big one. More importantly for my family, they were great with my 10yr and 14yr old sons.  They helped them, educated them and treated them like their own.  We will be returning at least yearly, if not more often, to hang out with them and do some fishing.  HIGHLY recommend!!

Two dads two teenage sons. Great day fishing the mouth of the Merrimack. Caught plenty of bait fish in 15 min then spent the rest of the day fishing for Stripers. Really knowledgeable, trustworthy, engaged crew. Easy to talk to whether about fishing or other topics which added to the enjoyable day on the water.  Communication leading up to our trip was seamless and organized. Will not need to look elsewhere for our next time on the water.  Highly recommend these guys.
