Captain Matt was warm, welcoming, professional, helpful, and tried his best to get us on fish. We went at the least ideal time of the year (August) and still managed to catch a couple beautiful bass. We’d like to try it again in Oct/Nov when the water isn’t so hot. Would definitely recommend.

My dad and I had the perfect day with Captain Matt. He was a very respectful man that was very knowledgeable on lake Conroe for Large Mouth Bass fishing. I cannot recommend him enough we 100% will be booking with him again when we come back to Texas. As a group we caught about 30 Large mouth with our top 5 fish being a total bag of 25 pounds. You will not find a better more knowledgeable and more reasonable guide than Captain Matt.

Given it was August in Texas. It was hot. At the same time there was a bass tournament on the lake. The tournament 1st place won with a 9lb bag. The 1st hour we fished we had a 7lb bag. Got broke off on a 5.5 lber. Captain Matt had Gatorade and Water cold and at the ready. He had plenty of rods and reels for my son and I. He was super patient with my son and put him on the fish.
