Background: Fishing is my true passion, I spend most of my days on the water and follow the migration patterns of Striped Bass. I really enjoy helping kids and watching people of all ages catch their first trophy fish. I fish mainly live bait but will use any means necessary to put fish in the boat, including downriggers, planner boards, umbrella rigs, and artificials. I am a licensed Captain through the US Coast Guard. I can launch from either Bean Station TN or Jefferson City TN.
Techniques: Live Bait or down riggers, and I also like pulling planner boards with huge gizzard shad.

With warmer days ahead, the Striper will be running up stream soon and the bite will get HOT. Above is a little clip from last Spring of a double hook up which is pretty common in the spring time of year. We did not expect to catch much with the weather being so inconsistent lately but Captain Bobby got my boys on some great big striper and we couldn’t be happier with this experience! If this Captain can’t get you on a fish then they just aren’t there! He is an expert fisherman!
