I bought this trip for my 2 adult children and their spouses. We’re all life time fishermen, and I’ve been fishing the inlets my entire life. The problem is, I’ve been fishing for flounder all wrong. The captain immediately taught them his technique and they ended up catching between 15-20 flounder (5 keepers) in a 4 hour morning, along with a lot of other various species. We chose FishZilla charters for our family fishing trip. Quentin our captain was very knowledgeable and a great teacher. It only took about 30 minutes of his instruction to go from not knowing what I was doing to catching fish. We caught mostly Flounder and Black Drum fish. We had several fish that were close to keepers, but still walked away with a bag full of Black Drum fillets. I’ll definitely be back on a future date. Very accommodating and I appreciated that very much!

This was our first ocean fishing experience and we had so much fun. Captain Hayden was kind and very nice to converse with. He shared his experience and knowledge with us and we felt his mission was to make sure we caught fish. If we weren’t getting many bites in one area he gave us the 5 minute rule and then we boated to another area. We caught several beautiful bass but unfortunately they were a bit too small to keep. Took my son and son-in-law fishing and even though the bite was on the slow side we still had a great time. Much of that is to be credited to Captain Ike who really made the trip so much more enjoyable with his good humor and great personality. He even went so far as to credit us an additional 2.5 hours of fishing on second day after our first day had been rained out. Highly recommend. Oh, and we also caught some fish!

Quentin & Mclovin were very professional and informative with helping guide the more inexperienced fishers on our trip.  Providing a nice laid back atmosphere.  Also got us on fish for most of our trip, getting some red drum, speckled trout, and flounder, enough to have a fish feast for all 14 ppl we had staying with us.  Would highly recommend a trip with them.
