  Absolutely fantastic huge catches

  6 Hour Shark/Reds Jetty – Channel on September 5, 2026 • 4 adults

  Our guide Trey was fantastic and knew all the best spots and was a fantastic teacher. We saw many dolphins and had several close encounters (of the thieving variety) and from the start we were catching small trout for baitfish with almost every cast. Once we got a hefty supply of bait we moved on to the big fish and after a bit of patience we quickly had 3 massive red drum fish each over 36 inches the largest being 39 and each over 30 pounds. After doing some fun catch and release we got back to the marina and there our fish was masterfully cleaned and filleted. Ultimately a fantastic trip totally worth everything and more.

  Was great fun and a great experience.

  4 Hour Inshore on April 14, 2026 • 4 adults

  This was my first time fishing in the Gulf, and let me tell you, we were as excited as kids in a candy store—if the candy store was full of fish and the kids were slightly hungover. My buddy was on a mission: to catch a large red fish, because apparently, in Texas, known for them large reds . So, off we went, and the captain was like a fish whisperer. The first spot we hit, my buddy pulls up this enormous red fish. I swear, this thing was so big, I half-expected it to start asking for a beer and a seat next to me ! I mean, it was the kind of fish that would make a mermaid reconsider her life choices. We stayed on fish the entire trip, like we were on a reality show called "Survivor: Fish Edition." Every time we thought we were done, another fish would jump on our lines like they were auditioning for a role in "Finding Nemo 3: The Revenge of the Fish." It was a reel good time pun intended , and honestly, the only thing we didn’t catch was a break from all that fishy madness! The Captain and his helper were awesome guys jump on board you definitely have a good time.

  My fiance and I go fishing yearly to celebrate my birthday. This was our first time with Get Hooked and we did! We each got a big bull red and it was first time fishing for his 13 year old. Great memories and delicious meals. Our Captain, Mo, knew right where to go. We’ll be coming back here for next year’s trip!

  Capt. Moe & 1st Mate Clevis

  2 Hour Family Beginners Bay on March 10, 2026 • 4 adults • 2 children

  What an amazing team! our Capt. & 1st Mate met us at the dock with smiles, professional appearance, excitement, and enthusiasm that was contagious with our 2 adult, and 2 grandchildren (8 & 7) fishing party that lasted through our entire 2hr fishing introduction charter. Within our very short time charter we caught 6 legal size Black Drum, 1 Sheep Head, a very large Blue Crab, 1 Toad Fish, and 2 small Sting Rays. Our Get Hooked crew were kept very busy keeping every pole on the boat baited and in the water the entire time we were on station and we moved around often. We were impressed, we all had a fantastic time, and were pleased with our catches of the day. We will be back!

  We had an awesome time on our fishing charter! Mo and Caleb were amazing — super fun, easygoing, and incredibly helpful the whole trip. They kept the energy up, made sure everyone was having a great time, and put us right on the fish. Thanks to them, we caught a ton and made some great memories.
