- Captain Mike Short is a USCG-licensed captain and the proud owner of Get Hooked Charters. In his own words: "I have been fishing Galveston since childhood and always knew that, when I could, this is what I would do!" With a fleet of 5 vessels, Capt. Mike works alongside a whole host of experienced, friendly captains to ensure that no guest has to miss out on a fun and productive day of angling. He's joined by Captain Ron Woods, a USCG-licensed captain and veteran with over 45 years of experience in these waters; Captain Dakota Moore, a USCG-licensed captain who's fished all over the country; Captain Kevin Birch, who specializes in bay/jetty fishing and Shark hunting; Captain Danny Harman, an inshore and offshore saltwater fishing machine; Captain Donnie Wood, who's fished Galveston for many years; and finally, the latest edition, experienced angler Captain Clay Rhoden coming soon. Together, this incredible crew will show you some of the best angling action Galveston has to offer!
