The crappie have been great this summer. The bite has been consistent and catching good numbers as well. I have hundreds of brushpiles at various locations and depths throughout the lake. Now is the time to catch a mess of Crappie before old man Winter gets here.

The crappie have been biting very well in this summer heat. Minnows seem to be the best bait to use. We have been fishing brush and structure 8-20' deep.

The past few eeeks have been amazing fishing with limits of crappie and giant catfish. My boat record blue cat for this year was caught Saturday and weighed in at 53lbs. The next day we boated one that was 22 lbs on a Crappie rig with a minnow. Speaking of crappie, they have been going great as well. No giants but lots of 9"-12" eating size to fill the cooler.

Plenty of stripers and catfish coming iver the side the past few trips. The summer pattetns are setting in and the fish are cooperating earky in the morning and then again right before dark. This is the time of the year when the short trips are better, catch the fish while they are biting and get off the water before it gets too hot. My start times are all flexible.
