Booked a half day trip and we caught well over 10 Albacore Tunas. Captain’s Jorge’s experience fishing in the bay is showcased by his knowledge of the different fishing patters across the bay. The boat is also one of the best ones at this price. Next time I’ll be booking a full day trip!

Our party of 4 - 2 men and 2 women - had a glorious day in both the bay and out into the big ocean.  Not only did we catch 16 fish, including tuna and yellowtail, but we saw several pods of whales and dolphins along with giant sea turtles and many species of sea birds.  Captain Jorge and mate David couldn’t have been more accommodating or knowledgeable.  This is the 2nd year we have gone out on the Valeria, and we plan to do it again next year.

My friends and I booked a boat ride and fishing experience with Captain Jorge and it was amazing. I had never been fishing before and I was a bit nervous to be out on the ocean. Four of us took a four hour morning charter from the Los Peines Marina on the Valeria I. We had set up for a couple days previously, but due to illness we needed to cancel at the very last minute. Captain Jorge was kind enough to suggest rescheduling for two days later and it worked out perfect for us.  The crew who took us out were entertaining and experienced. Captain Jorge made this trip even better than expected. He is awesome!!! Our trip was part fishing, part sightseeing-adventure (snorkeling, waterfalls, etc.) For fishing, our entire group caught something. We hooked into a couple big ones too but lost them. Captain Jorge is extremely knowledgable about fishing and many other things. He helped us get horses to trek to the waterfall; he even walked the entire way with us.
