It's time to take the family on a brilliant day out in Mexico. Spend the day with the dedicated crew of Valeria I, who will do everything they can to make sure you have an incredible trip. At the helm is Captain Jorge, an English and Spanish speaking captain who is detail-oriented – let him know what you want from your day and he'll do everything he can to make your dreams come true.

Whether you're spending more time fishing or are just jumping aboard to get to the beaches, the boat you'll be on is comfortable and has enough space for 11 anglers. When fishing, 3 anglers can fish at once, or 2 can fly fish instead if they bring their own fly fishing gear. There are 6 masks and fins on board for snorkeling, and one person can spearfish. There really is something for everyone!

The 30' boat has a multimedia system so you can blast your tunes as you travel. There's plenty of seating for a relaxed ride out and 2 fighting chairs to help you reel in the big fish.

Some of the species you can target include Mahi Mahi, Sailfish, Yellowfin Tuna, Jack Crevalle, and plenty more. For fish that can be kept, your captain can make ceviche on board for you. Alternatively, take your catch to a local restaurant and have it cooked there, accompanied with rice and vegetables, for a small cost.

Trips with Capt. Jorge are all about you! You can do a range of activities, from touring Yelapa town and visiting the Cascade Waterfalls, to snorkeling and light fishing. Your day, your choice.

If you choose to fish, the rods and reels are provided for you. You can choose to catch the live bait yourself or purchase it from one of the other local boats, which is an experience in itself. Both options are included in the price.

You should bring along drinks on all trips, as well as sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and a towel if getting into the water.

Fantastic Day

My son and I had a fantastic day in the water with Captain Jorge and his firdt mste Emi. I think it took under 5 min to get our first fish in the boat. Captain Jorge had us on some schools of bonito very quickly in a spot where we were the only ones in that tack. I heard some of the other boats on the radio asking where the bonito were. We even had a triple header and maaged to land all three. We then moved on to trying bait on the bottom for snapper and running live bait for jacks and roosters. We had a couple bites but nothing stayed on unfortunately. Captain Jorge and Emi were great to hang out with for the day. Always checking if i needed a cereza or my son needed anything to eat or drink. They made an absolutely fantastic ceviche on board with one if the bonito while we drifted for a bit with the live bait out. The boat has a bluetooth sound system ao you can have music playing as you are running out and fishing if you like. Captain Jorge had a mix on that I was playing all the bangers you heard at clubs in the late 90s and early 2000s. It was great. I'm planning a return trip for Oct/Nov when more of the larger game fish are running and will be booking a full day with Captain Jorge on the Valeria 1.

What a wonderful afternoon!!!

First off, we were so happy to fund an afternon trip! We may be retired but after YEARS of working nights, earlier morning trips just dont work for us. So off we go at 1 pm knowing the fishing may not be the best. Jorge and Emiliano both explained this to us so imagine our surprise when an hour in, we are both fighting good size fish in the bay!! Two amberjacks (one 45 lbs, the other 40 lbs). Man i need to lift more weights 😂😂 Storm rolls in about an hour later so we head closer to shore and so exciting caught two albacore!! Oh yeah, did i leave out the fresh Shichimi that Jorge mixed us up or the water and beer that Emiliano kept offering? we had a wonderful time and will definitely keep this crew in our favorites for our next trip to PV!!! They were great and walked us through everything they were doing. Highly recommend👍

JUST DO IT!

5 Hour Trip on December 2, 2025 • 2 adults

We had an absolutely incredible experience on our fishing charter! Even though the fish weren't biting much that day (that's fishing for you!), we had the best time just being out on the water. We saw whales, dolphins, manta rays, and the most breathtaking mountain views—worth the trip alone! Jorge and David were fantastic guides. They worked hard to put us on fish and still managed to help us catch a shark and two skipjacks, which was just the icing on the cake. They even filleted everything for us, so we had plenty of fresh fish to enjoy over the next few days. The boat itself was super comfortable, and having a bathroom onboard was a major bonus—especially while enjoying a few beers! One tip: don't forget to bring a bag for your fish filets at the end. We forgot ours, but luckily they had a spare. Overall, this was such a memorable adventure, and we'd book again in a heartbeat. If you're considering a fishing charter, this is the one! 🎣🌊

Awesome day catching fish

10 Hour Trip – Big Game on November 3, 2025 • 2 adults

What a great day, we started today by getting 2 hits by marlin and then a sailfish that we were able to bring in. It was a 96 inch long beauty and 30 inches around the belly. We had a few more hits after that but unfortunately they didnt stick. Besides catching one of my favorite fish and checking off a bucket list item we seen a ton of dolphins and sea turtles. Made it even better seeing all of that. Later in the evening Captain Jorge made arrangements for someone to take care of the bill and have it professionally cleaned and presentable. I was not only very impressed with all the hard work put into getting us that beautiful fish but im also very impressed with how late in the evening he worked to get the bill taken care of for me. I would highly recommend going fishing with him

if you've ever wanted to, do it!!

Full Day Trip <Off Shore> on October 27, 2025 • 2 adults

My second time ever fishing, but this has been a lifelong dream for my boyfriend, so we decided to send it despite being nervous of being out so far in the ocean. We originally booked an 8 hour, but decided to extend to 10 at the recommendation of the caption since we were already there. Go big or go home! Unfortunately for us, we went out the day after a big tournament so the seas were pretty quiet. Only got a couple bites, but those few bites mattered because we ended up with a blue marlin! We only got that one fish pretty early, but if you're like me and just like to be on the sidelines, it was a beautiful and relaxing time to just enjoy the sun and nap in the shade listening to the waves and nothing else but beautiful blue around. And it was just a wonderful experience to even get to try regardless. We paid a little extra to have the fish frozen and sealed for us to bring back to the US, including two coolers. Definitely a pricier experience, but 100% worth it!
