Captain Don helped make the last day of our BC trip a memorable one, with a quick focused 4 hour trip. Me and my 3 sons had a great time and caught some nice fish, including a 30 plus pound native Chinook (welcome to the Tyee club!) Don knew right where to go and the action was nearly non stop!

Our captain Jeff was awesome. We got to our spot and no sooner thet he put lines out that we caught our first chinook and a couple of minutes later we caught our second. Once the four of us caught our chinooks we moved and procceded to catch 2 pink salmon. All in all it was agreat experience

Captain Chris and Rising Tide was phenomenal. It was our first time salmon fishing and took the time to understand our concerns and what we were especially looking forward to. He was easy to talk to and get along with. We will definitely be returning to Rising Tide for more fun experiences. They have excellent equipment and a very comfortable vessel. We caught many fish and crab too! Chris took excellent care of us. Thanks again Chris!

Although it was Thanksgiving weekend, the weather gods were looking out for us. 15 degrees and 8 km/h winds. Made for a picture perfect morning. Within 20 minutes of leaving the dock, we had a crab trap dropped and lines in the water. We knew the fishing was going to be slower that time of year and it was. My wife and I went out with Don on our honeymoon and it was an absolute blast. Don and Chris went above and beyond to make it an awesome experience and it sure was. Don was our captain and he’s a fantastic guy. Salt of the earth dude and extremely knowledgeable. Sounds like Chris is the same way! We caught salmon, crabs and we saw wildlife we were hoping to see on our trip. Seals, humpback whales, bald eagle, and at the end of the night we saw a Sitka black tail buck at the point.
