- Background
- I come from a family of fishermen. I knew from an early age I wanted to be a fishing guide. I love everything about the water. I have spent many seasons in Everglades City, working with my father-in-law and stone crabbing. The open water of the Gulf of Mexico has the best sunrise I've ever seen. I also have experience as an airboat captain – anything to get out on the water! But nothing compares to being a fishing guide. I enjoy everything about fishing. There is nothing better than to put my clients on some nice sport fish. To see their faces when they pull a keeper Snook into the boat, that is priceless.
- Techniques
- I fish mainly in shore with light tackle or fly. I fish the mangroves and flats of Treasure Coast or the Ten Thousand Island. Targeting Snook, Redfish and Spotted Seatrout. I always look forward to going out in the Gulf to target Grouper, King fish and Coba. I also enjoy wading with light tackle or fly, stocking monster Tarpon and Snook.
