This guy certainly knows his craft. His knowledge of the waters and where to fish are nothing short of amazing. As a boat owner myself I can see the dedication he’s invested in fishing. It’s certainly made him efficient as a captain and guide. Great equipment, Great time and a cooler full of fish, that he also cleaned, washed and bagged up. Take the trip. You won’t be disappointed. Captain Tripp is a great, easy-going guide with extensive knowledge of the local waterways.  We had our first fish within 15 minutes and enjoyed the rest of the day checking out different spots and catching a variety of species.  Tripp worked well with our group that contained guys with a wide range of experience from rookie to experienced freshwater fisherman and made sure it stayed fun for everyone.  I cannot recommend Captain Tripp highly enough - we wouldn’t hesitate to go again any day!

Captain Tripp is a rockstar. He lives and breathes fishing, and is a local who has learned the craft through his father. He knew the honey holes and did not linger in a spot too long if there wasn’t activity. He is the kind of guy you can hang out with and thoroughly enjoys sharing his craft with other people. Tripp is top notch! Been on a lot of fishing trips, a lot of places, and this was one of the most enjoyable experiences I’ve had. He knows the area, is knowledgeable and has a great rig and gear. Caught a lot of fish - and had a blast with my Dad and my 8 y/o son. We will recommend for sure!

Tripp worked with us to reschedule and make adjustments due to a storm riddled week. He was upfront and open with us on the tough fishing conditions he had experienced in the days prior to our trip. It is obvious that Tripp is passionate about what he does, and respects the local fishery. Despite tough/slow fishing conditions, Tripp managed to put us on our target, Red drum. Tripp was very personable and made for good conversation throughout our trip.
