We had the best time with Captain John-Mark.  First off, all 6 of us caught multiple fish, including shark, sting ray, mackerel, and many others. Also, you can tell he cares. Everything from the service in providing all bait and tackle as well as servicing all of our lines. The boat was clean, and he also shared great stories and knowledge about the area. He made the trip memorable.

Capt. John was very professional and personable. He was very efficient and wanted to make sure we caught fish. He definitely made sure we had a good time and enjoyed our time with him. Caught some black drum, sheepshead and he was able to put us all on some sharks that put up a good fight. Will definitely book again and we’re looking forward to our next time in Galveston.

We will definitely book again with Captian John and Big Tex Fishing Charters.  He knows the fishing spots well in the area and we had a great time.  Captain John is very friendly and we look firward to doing it again.

John was a great boat captain. He wasted no time to get us to the jetty and got us some lines in the water. We hooked up all types of species. Later we traveled to an area to shark fish and we hooked 4 sharks, the fight was awesome. Our captain was very friendly and taught us a lot about the area and the species we targeted. We enjoyed it very much!

Capt John was great.  Very knowledgeable and helpful.  Just a very good genuine person. The fish weren’t biting great.  We caught several that were too small to keep.  But John kept working and trying to put us on something.  We ended up catching a 150 pound Sting Ray.  It was awesome.  My Dad and I had a great time.  Definitely want to do it again.
