its august and the big blacken tunas are still around. normally they move on in June. there are some big kings coming over the side and a sailfish thrown into the mix. Mahi Mahi season is upon us and there are plenty around right now.

Captain Tom has won the award for the top sailfish tagging captain in the Atlantic ocean by the Billfish Foundation. Catching and tagging more sailfish than any other boat in the Atlantic. Sailfish are showing up in good numbers. We will start catching them through early may. Lots of kingfish as well. A few Mahi still around and the tunas are making their presence known.

The Sailfish are here and we are catching them. All last week we were having multiple shots at sailfish. I prefer to tag and release these fish to fight again another day. Some people like to kill them and eat them. I have eaten them and can tell you they are not that good. I would rather eat a hot dog. Mixed in with the sailfish are wahoo, tuna, dolphin and kingfish.
