Both Captain Matt and his Co Captain Jarvis were very knowledgeable when it comes to deep sea fishing. They were able to catch bait fish and put us on some great fish. Think within minutes of hooking up the live bait we were already hooked on to an ono. I’ve been deep sea fishing with Matt 4 times now and each time we caught pelagic fish. Hoping to go again to catch a yellowfin tuna or marlin next. Definitely recommend him because he lets you keep a good amount of your catch and not just 15 lbs like most of the other charters that you will find on Oahu allow you to keep. He also cuts up the fish for you and provides bags. Lastly he made me some killer food on my last trip!

Even though the fish were not biting as much on our day we had a great experience.  Captain Matt was very diligent on ensuring we would catch something.  I took my kids and the crew made sure they got in on the action.  We were able to see whales and dolphins during our trip.  I appreciated the extra touch of video footage from the go pro when my son was catching some fish.  Definitely recommending him to others.

Bite was slow but Matt did everything he could to put us on the fish. We tried different techniques and went further out than usual to find the fish. Ended up bagging a tuna and an ono! While fighting the fish he was very helpful in showing you the correct technique and best way to bring the fish in. I will definitely do another trip with captain Matt and I recommend you to take a trip with him!

Capt. Matt was very welcoming to our group. He showed us all the safety precautions and measures to ensure that we had a safe trip and enjoyable experience. He is very knowledgeable about all things water so be sure to ask questions. We ended up catching not only 1, but 2 Blue Marlin and 1 O’no. Definitely recommend this trip and will 1000% be back again!
