Our family of 6 went on a half day fishing trip leaving from La Push.  It was amazing!  The weather was not great, but Capt. I booked this trip as a birthday present for my sister, and it couldn’t have worked out better. Ended up taking my whole family and we all had a truly unforgettable experience. We caught the tail end of halibut season and managed to bring in our limit of halibut and nearly our limit of lingcod. The title is citing my 7 and 11 year old boys thoughts on the fishing trip with KYS. “Most fun since Disneyland” The trip was absolutely amazing. Everything from the comfortable ride in the spacious charter boat, to the ease KYS provides in assisting and making sure your getting the most out of the experience. Oh, and did I mention the fishing was great!

This was our fourth trip out for rockfish. We’ve had two AK trips and this was our second in the lower 48. This was by FAR the best day yet. Captain and boat were ready to go. Our first casts were double hookups before the hooks hit bottom. Great day. A limit of lingcod and rockfish. It’s a bit of a drive but well worth it. Highly recommend.

Originally, I worried about taking my grandkids (9 and 11) on a fishing trip to La Push. It was their first trip to the open Pacific.  However, the Captain of the charter boat. Lamont Nelson did everything   perfectly to make our trip very safe and extremely enjoyable.  He is a very professional and extremely kind person.  Thank you, Captain
