Awesome day fishing with captain James. We headed out early at 6am because he said it would be better for striped bass and boy was it. We started in one spot and they weren’t hitting so we quickly moved and then found a spot where they were on fire! All keepers! We even caught some large cats. We are so glad we booked our first Lake Conroe fishing trip with Captain James and Fish Head Water Sports! Our Captain had extensive knowledge of the lake and knew how to find great pockets of fish. My wife and I went out for a 5 hour trip. We left the dock at 6 am to start our fishing trip for hybrids. We caught 2 hybrids that were keepers and caught some more hybrids that unfortunately werent keepers.
