Captain No Doubt Picked me up at 5AM with complimentary waters and a few gatorades - very professional.  What he had in store for me was unbelievable!  From the first cast to the final toss, our live mullets were continously devoured by an array of Jack Crevalle, Snook, and Tarpon (many over 100 lbs that jump out of the water to fight the rod)!  Captain Zach was extremely efficient in baiting the rods, making sure each individual on board was able to fight multiple fish, unhooking & releasing the fish after a tremendous photograph opportunity/memory, and making us feel comfortable the entirety of the trip.

Captain Zach knows Fort Lauderdale fishing like the back of his hand.  It was apparent that each “spot” we stopped/trolled was a hot spot.  It is as if Captain Zach can catch Jacks on command.  It is really uncanny.

Fighting a tarpon is one of the most exhilirating things you can do in Fort Lauderdale.  The massive 100+ fish attempt to cut off the rod in the various pilings that exist!  Furthermore, they jump out of the water and attempt to spit the lure/mullet - It is a once in a lifetime experience!!!

I will undoubtedly be booking another charter with NoDoubtCharterz!  I can’t wait to go again!  And, he kind of looks like Coach McDaniel from the Dolphins!

Zach, an old friend and fraternity brother of mine from back in the day at the University of Florida, took me out on the night shift from 5:30-9:30pm to get after some jack crevalle, snook, and tarpon. I had recently moved to Victoria Park and was still just an amateur saltwater angler, so I went in hoping to learn as much of his tactics as possible while catching up over some fishing. It’s safe to say I had high expectations going into the trip having known Zach was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale and and has fished for most of his life. But despite this, the trip was still far more thrilling and explanatory than I anticipated as Zach put me on fish all night and has a natural ability for teaching. I ended up landing my first Silver King (tarpon) along with a solid jack which was saying a lot given we were fishing in 30-40 degree weather during a cold front and things were more quiet than usual. I learned a ton along the way, and really enjoyed the night out there on the water fishing with him. I plan to go again soon and would definitely recommend him to a friend looking for a quality captain and charter.

I have fished with captain Zach many times over the last ~9yrs. He never disappoints.
He knows the waterways better than anyone else and works harder than others to make sure the trip is a joy for all.
Great character that’s easy to be around whether you’re a kid or a grandparent.
He can do it all- bonefish to billfish, but his specialty is inshore bruisers— Huge tarpon, snook, jack crevalle, barracuda, sharks. He catches them all year round.

I had an awesome day if fishing with captain Zach! He was clearly very experienced and knew exactly were to find the big ones. When I saw this tarpon jump out of the water!! I couldn’t believe it. What a monster! My favorite part about the trip was how much Zach knew about the environment and coastal waterways. We caught an released 3 tarpon, one 150+ lbs, and a boat load of jacks. My back was hurting the next day but we will cherish these memories for a lifetime!

Captain Zach is the best of the best. He’s been fishing the inshore waters of south Florida since he learned how to walk. As a former FWC biologist, Captain Zach understands fish behavior on a scientific level which makes him uniquely equipped to put you on em’ every trip. I’ve fished with him several times and we always walk away with a “bucketlist fish”. 10/10 would recommend. If you ain’t fishing with Captain Zach you ain’t catching’.
