Took us out of Tamarindo on a 3/4 day and put us on the tuna immediately which got the kids pumped and got us set for lunch and dinner. We took some of our catch out deeper with no success but that’s fishing. Captain was instructive with my boys, they learned a lot and came home ready to go again. Would recommend.

Had a great time with a great captain. My dad and I went out for a 3/4 day, which was perfect. We caught 3 fish total, 2 sailfish and a type of jack fish. Even though my dad was sick, it didn’t stop him from landing a bigger sailfish than mine. Overall great experience with great company! Would recommend fishing with Pichel fishing tour!

If you’re looking for a basic and inexpensive, but adventuresome trip, this is for you.  Our captain and his helper worked very card to help us catch all the fish we could.  We trolled and gig-fished.  We hooked two large yellowfin tunas.  The first was eaten by a shark, along with the lure.  The second broke the back hook off the lure and got away.  Then we caught a large manta ray with gig fishing. t this boat and crew was super fun. Fish were not super active but we still caught fish. These guys know what they are doing and work their asses of to get you on the fish!

Caught 2 yellow tail tuna and 1 black fin. Captain is such a fun person - grest jokes - great english - absolutely would book again.
