Capt. William was great from moment one finding a great spot to catch bait, then 2 other spots to catch fish! We had a great trip with a bunch of snapper for the family dinner. We also caught a big grouper (out of season, had to release), and 2 sharks bit at the same time! So fun, even to catch and release! Thanks for a great trip!

The trip was planned perfectly and the weather was excellent. The crew that took us out were very friendly and knowledgeable about the surroundings and had some great spots that they picked for us. We all had a great time and look forward to doing it again soon.  Thanks again for a memorable trip.

I can’t thank Capt. Tyler and Capt Andrew enough! We took our three girls (8, 9, and 11) out not just fishing for the first time, but offshore fishing for the first time as well. From the beginning Smokin Hooks was super responsive to questions, and took feedback for what we wanted to accomplish for the trip. The captains asked what we wanted to try for and I asked about trying to land a shark as my youngest is obsessed with them and the hammerhead is her favorite. Well guess what we caught, a hammerhead! She was so excited. We hit several spots so the kids could do some catch and release, we ended up with some keepers as well. Finally we went looking for a barracuda and sure enough, landed a huge one!

Captains Andrew and Tyler were super patient with the kiddos and gave them great instruction on how to do things. Really great guys. If you are looking to book a charter and especially with the family, I highly recommend Smokin Hooks.

My 13 year old daughter and I had an amazing time out on the water. We were given a heads up by Julia that the water would be a little choppy, and that we could take a rain check, but we really wanted to go out and fish. The trip out was safe and comfortable. Tyler and Andrew were great and ensured we were safe, comfortable and immersed in the experience. We caught silver snapper and mangrove snapper, and grouper. None of the grouper were big enough to keep, but maybe next time! We took our cleaned and filleted catch to a restaurant Andrew recommended where they lightly fried it to perfection. This was a bucket list item for my 13 year old, and the The Smokin Hooks team did not disappoint. I would book again.
