Trip Summary

After a phenomenol day of fishing the Gulf with this family we landed a minster Snook at the Cocohatchee River Marina dock. Talk about a great ending! We’ve been loading up on the Mangrove Snapper between 3-5 miles offshore, fighting the Barracuda regularly, and still catching some Cobia! Brought a Tripletail on the boat two weeks back and just overall have been having a blast with our customers!

We’ve been waiting on the Kings and Tripletail to show up. As of today, the Tripletail action is back on. We spotted some smaller and larger swimming through our grounds and targeted them for tonight’s dinner plate. Happy customers and our crew can’t wait to go out for more this year. Repeat customers Vern and Steve were in Naples for a fishing adventure this past week. We’ve been having better success at our 3 and 5 mile spots so stuck with near shore this trip and scored with a plentiful day catching Permit, Snook, Goliath Grouper, Cobia, and more. We did snag a loggerhead and we were able to safely release him back home!
