The fishing trip was not very fun and enjoyable. It was our first time fishing in the ocean and it was not the experience we had expected. The ride was extremely harsh and one of the guys blew out their back. The captain was not very personable and really didn’t take the time to explain how to fish. He just kind of assumed that we already knew what we were doing.  Overall it was not a good experience and I would not do this again. Especially for the money that we paid and we only caught 3 fish. It was like the captain just wanted our money and wasn’t very personable.

We went out a few days after Thanksgiving. He took us 20 miles off the Gulfcoast. We caught a kingfish almost immediately but then nothing. He was doggedly determined to get us more and he did. He knows the good fishing spots all along the coast.

I am 43 and probably never left a review in my life on anything! I planned this fishing trip a few months ago for my family of 6! For the amount of money I spent I feel like it’s worth to leave a review! 800.00 for 4 hours!
So if you are looking for a fishing trip where you will hold your own rod and fish…. This isn’t for you!
The minute we got on the boat he asked for the remaining balance… which was ok and exspected, but then in the same sentence he asked for his tip as well!
I’m sorry but I’ve never been asked for a tip before a service!!
This was a fishing trip for 6 and there is only 3 rods!
You won’t be holding them except only to wheel it in ONLY!
Your whole party will be standing in the back of the boat the whole time while fishing, with 2 people standing in the sides waiting for a bite…. when there is a bite… you can then start to wheel it in!!
Make sure no one in your party ask the same question twice..  cause he will say he already answered that!
Not very personable! Seemed to be in a bad mood!
I picked him because after watching his video he seemed to be nice and down to earth and personable!
He has been doing this for a long time and you can tell it’s a job for him… not a hobby!!!
If I had to do it over again I would have picked someone younger or who has just started and excited about showing someone a good time! It was very obvious he was there to get paid!!!

Great experience!! 6 hours was the perfect amount of time!
