We waited over a month longer than last year for the Mangrove snapper spawn! Today it took us by surprise. We just finished the full moon in July where we struggled through week putting a catch together. Today we had a feeling it would all come together. We started out on one of our yellowtail snapper fishing spots and within minutes huge delicious Mangrove Snappers showed up! They were hungry! This family was rigged and ready once we changed all of our gear for the Mangroves. It was non stop action. The fish ate any bait we put down! We kept as many as they wanted and releases so many fish! This fishing should last another month. We are so excited!

Today we had a wonderful family fishing charter. They booked a for Hour Reef Trip and that our first stop the bite wasnโ€™t really going on. We pull the anchor within 40 minutes and headed to another spot immediately after setting out the chum and putting out some of our other techniques the fish were boiling behind the boat. From that point on it was nonstop action even Lisa at 78 years old said it was the best fishing charter she was ever on look at the size of that yellow tail snapper. She caught all by herself yellow tail snapper at the time of this picture need to be 12 inches to be legally kept. This fish is more than double that and there were so many more that came with it not only did we have a great fishing charter but we made new friends and this is what itโ€™s all about for us, we hope to do the same with you whether it be on a 3 4 or six hour trip

What a day with this great family from PA. This family had little experience fishing in the Florida Keys and decided to book a 3/4 reef and wreck trip. The goal was to catch enough snappers to bring home and also enjoy a few meals while on vacation. The second part of the goal was to catch a big fish! Everything fell into place today. The family was patient learning the tactic we showed them. In no time they landed 30 keeper Yellowtail Snappers a Tuna along with a few other reef fish. We then moved out to the wrecks in deeper water. Our first drift in 140 feet with a live pinfish hooked a keeper mutton snapper. Mutton snappers are not very well known by folks throughout the country. They are extremely finicky fish that fight hard and taste absolutely delicious. The young 6 year old angler not only reeled this Mutton Snapper in from 140 feet but she didnโ€™t need any help. I was right by her side in case she did. The smile on her face I will never forget. This is why I do what I do! We did a few more drifts with no bites. We moved to another wreck. On the very last drift with live bait this time in 200 feet the rod bent in half! Dad took over and in less than 20 minutes landed a trophy African Pompano! This entire trip was epic which is why the 3/4 reef and wreck is one of our favorite trips. Todays 3/4 reef and wreck was amazing! The winter in Marathon Florida brigs life to hungry fish fighting cooler water temperatures and faster current! This trip was on our 36 Yellowfin which always keeps everyone comfortable.

With winter fast approaching here in marathon Florida. The waters temperatures are cooling off. When this happens a whole new fishery comes alive.! This Cobia measured 50 Inches and gave this client the fight he dreamed of. We are ready to take novice and avid anglers out. Check out Manicsportfishing 36 Yellowfin with triple 300hp motors.
