BATHROOM!!!! Come aboard Manicsportfishing and join the crew for an adventure that will see you exploring the plentiful waters of Marathon. Their FL captain prides himself on offering a charter that is based on relationships – there are no run-of-the-mill fishing trips here! No expense is spared to ensure that you’ll have a great day on the water.

The captain is based out of the Florida Keys because of its diverse fisheries, from the Florida Bay and one of the largest natural reefs along with local wrecks!
You’ll be heading out on your adventure in a 31 foot Steiger Craft. She’s an impressively fast fishing machine that can accommodate up to 6 anglers. Onboard, you’ll find luxuries not a lot of boats in the area can offer, including heating, and a full toilet – you’ll be traveling in serious comfort and style! Guest safety is important to the captain, so your vessel is fully equipped with a Viking liferaft, EPIRB, and other necessary safety and navigational gear.

The Florida Keys are home to some seriously impressive world-famous fish. If you’re looking for some first-class big game,
Want to reel in some monster species that will give you serious bragging rights? A variety of Sharks are on offer, including Mako, Bull, and Nurse.

You’ll be provided with top-notch gear for your trip, as well as a friendly and knowledgeable crew. When you’re back on shore, they’ll clean your catch for you. The first mate works for tips, so gratuity is very much appreciated.

✨ Amazing Half-Day Fishing Experience with Manicsportfishing! ✨

Our half-day charter with Manicsportfishing out of Marathon Key was truly unforgettable! Shad and Erin, our incredible crew, made the entire experience exceptional. They were friendly, professional, and incredibly patient with everyone in our group—especially the teens who some were fishing for the first time and even on a boat for the first time. What truly set this trip apart was how knowledgeable these guys are about the waters. They knew exactly where to take us for action and demonstrated a deep understanding of local techniques needed to catch species like Mangrove Snapper, Yellow-tail Snapper, and Cero Mackerel. We were actively catching fish within minutes of arriving at their spots—an indicator of their expertise and familiarity with the area. Despite some of us experiencing a bit of motion sickness, the crew kept spirits high and ensured everyone had fun. And fun we had! Everyone caught at least one keeper, making the trip both exciting and rewarding. The crew went above and beyond by teaching us proper fishing techniques and showing us how to clean our catch, adding an educational touch to the adventure. This trip was not only thrilling but also a memorable family experience filled with laughter, learning, and incredible memories. Highly recommend Manicsportfishing for anyone looking for a top-notch fishing excursion in the Keys. We can’t wait to come back!

Got on the fish and had a great time

4 Hour Trip – Reef /BayFishing (PM) on June 7, 2025 • 2 adults

Trip was great. Captain put us on the fish and the mate did a great job explaining the proper technique on bringing them in. When the bite slowed down we didn't waste any time and went to another nearby spot where the bite was much better. Mate tried several different methods while we were fishing for yellow tails to see if we could get anything else but the yellow tails were the most reliable. Would recommend, captain and mate both put us on the fish and we went home with plenty of fish.

Perfect trip for those with little to no experience.

4 Hour Trip – Reef / Bay Bathroom on May 24, 2025 • 2 adults

Our objective was to go out on the boat and enjoy a relaxing day on the water, and hopefully catch our dinner. Our four hour excursion was perfect. We caught enough fish to share with other tables at the restaurant. Captain Shad and First Mate Aaron were friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. The entire experience was very memorable.

Another Great Day W Capt Shad

I fish charters 2-3 times per month and have for years. Capt Shad is one of the best Ive fished with anywhere, and when I venture to the Keys, which I do frequently, he is top on my list. There are other good charters out of Marathon to be sure, and there are fancier boats to go out on. However, if you want to catch fish with a knowledgeable Captain who never takes his eye off of passenger safety and comfort, on a solid, comfortable fishing boat, then Id rate Shad & Manic as the best.

Fishing trip was a core memory and a perfect Sunday for the books!

It was the perfect day! Weather was great. Captain Shad and Aaron were extremely knowledgeable and hands on. They put us on the fish. The boat was very clean and nice. Gear was all in great shape. My wife and I had a fantastic day soaking up the Florida sun and catching some fish. We were able to get to know Captain Shad and Aaron.
