Their FL captain prides himself on offering a charter that is based on relationships – there are no run-of-the-mill fishing trips here! No expense is spared to ensure that you'll have a great day on the water.

The captain is based out of the Florida Keys because of its diverse fisheries, from the Florida Bay and one of the largest natural reefs along with local wrecks!
You'll be heading out on your adventure in a 31 foot Steiger Craft. She's an impressively fast fishing machine that can accommodate up to 6 anglers. Onboard, you'll find luxuries not a lot of boats in the area can offer, including heating, and a full toilet – you'll be traveling in serious comfort and style! Guest safety is important to the captain, so your vessel is fully equipped with a Viking liferaft, EPIRB, and other necessary safety and navigational gear.

Want to reel in some monster species that will give you serious bragging rights? A variety of Sharks are on offer, including Mako, Bull, and Nurse.

You'll be provided with top-notch gear for your trip, as well as a friendly and knowledgeable crew. When you're back on shore, they'll clean your catch for you. The first mate works for tips, so gratuity is very much appreciated.

Our boat was leaving with another group and we would have been pissed.
However the Captain corrected the mistake.  Then we had an awesome trip.
I'm not sure how the other patrons ended up on our boat but the crew handled it with awesome professionalism. 
I would use them again. The mate was awesome.

We had an absolutely amazing fishing trip! from start to finish, the captain (Shad) and mate (Aaron) made the entire trip great! The captain was very knowledgeable, knew where to go and kept us on fish most of the day. The mate worked nonstop, making sure everything ran smoothly, helping with bait, lines, and making sure we were good to go! 
We caught great fish, made incredible memories, and couldn’t have asked for a better day on the water!

✨ Amazing Half-Day Fishing Experience with Manicsportfishing! ✨

4 Hour Trip – Reef / Bay Bathroom on June 28, 2025 • 5 adults

Our half-day charter with Manicsportfishing out of Marathon Key was truly unforgettable! Shad and Erin, our incredible crew, made the entire experience exceptional. They were friendly, professional, and incredibly patient with everyone in our group—especially the teens who some were fishing for the first time and even on a boat for the first time.

What truly set this trip apart was how knowledgeable these guys are about the waters. They knew exactly where to take us for action and demonstrated a deep understanding of local techniques needed to catch species like Mangrove Snapper, Yellow-tail Snapper, and Cero Mackerel. We were actively catching fish within minutes of arriving at their spots—an indicator of their expertise and familiarity with the area.

Despite some of us experiencing a bit of motion sickness, the crew kept spirits high and ensured everyone had fun. And fun we had! Everyone caught at least one keeper, making the trip both exciting and rewarding.

The crew went above and beyond by teaching us proper fishing techniques and showing us how to clean our catch, adding an educational touch to the adventure.

This trip was not only thrilling but also a memorable family experience filled with laughter, learning, and incredible memories. Highly recommend Manicsportfishing for anyone looking for a top-notch fishing excursion in the Keys. We can’t wait to come back!

We had to do the bay instead of the reef because of the wind. We caught grouper, sharks, and snapper!  Crew was great. Helpful with the kids!  Set us up with some great spots.  Great for kids or first timers. Would definitely go again with this crew. Make sure you prepare for the wind and splashing.

4 Hour Trip – Reef / Bay Bathroom on March 12, 2026 • 2 adults

Opted for a 4 hr trip in some sporty weather and well worth it!  Pile of 16-17 inch mutton and up to 19inch yellow tail from start to end. Caught something big enough to break a rod! (sorry Aaron!) ended day with a 35 lb King grabbing a blue runner under resident Frigate bird.
