Captain Austin grew up charter fishing with his uncle around 2010 and started working as a mate for him. He worked with his uncle up until the time he was old enough to obtain his Captain's License and has been running charters ever since. There is nothing Captain Austin enjoys more than putting clients on fish and helping them have a great trip.
Techniques
Captain Austin does all different kinds of fishing but he mostly does trolling, both trolling for Kingfish with live bait or trolling for bigger pelagics offshore with ballyhoo. He also likes to use some other styles of fishing as well, such as high-speed trolling for Wahoo, kite fishing for Kingfish, and also jigging for Grouper, Snapper, and African Pompano. There are so many different styles of fishing in the world that he feels like there is always something new to learn.

Today was another great morning on the water. We had a 4 Hour Nearshore trip and the action was hot! We started out trolling for spanish mackerel and caught as many as the guys wanted, then we switched over to flounder fishing. We ended up with around 20 spanish mackerel and our limit of flounder. Give us a call to get in on the action, we only have a few more days of flounder season so donโ€™t miss out! - Capt. Austin

With the opening of our north carolina flounder season weโ€™ve been taking advantage. The fair weather out of the north east allows us to venture out to the nearshore reefs and wrecks targeting spanish mackerel, flounder and red drum. This is our 6 hour nearshore reef trip. The action has been great and so has the weather. Now is the time to get out on the water!

We have had a cold front come through the past few days and it has really triggered the fish into biting. The cool air brought great weather and great fishing. From nearshore fishing catching spanish mackerel and sharks to full day offshore catching wahoo and tuna. Its all been great. Our favorite time of the year is starting to poke through- FALL. Cool weather and fish everywhere. Another thing that is coming up is our Nc flounder season. It opens September 1, so donโ€™t miss out on that while we have the opportunity. - Capt. Austin

We had another beautiful day on the water with plenty of action. Our guys caught some real nice red snapper, and some real nice gag grouper. Unfortunately season is closed on them but still a great fight. They were able to catch some good eats for dinner as well though including amberjack, scamp grouper, vermillion snapper and triggerfish. Give us a call and lets get you out on the water.

Another great day on the ocean. This was one of our 8 hr trips today, we caught lots of amberjacks, some nice gag grouper, a nice cobia, as well as some beeliners and sea bass. Fishing is only going to get better. Come check us out!
