Capt. Austin’s Fishing Adventures is a multi-boat charter operation that runs out of Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina. It was formally known as Capt. Brant’s Fishing Adventures that used to operate for over twenty years. Captain Austin Aycock is a skilled friendly angler who knows how to show you a great time on the water. Join in and have a pleasant fishing experience as you discover the area’s offshore waters.
You will start your trip on a 33’ World Cat catamaran that can carry up to 6 guests. Its engine is a 300 HP Yamaha that can reach a maximum cruising speed of 30 knots. For navigation, it uses the latest Simrad GPS and fishfinder technology as well as a radio. The boat has got a private toilet and its onboard fishing gear includes outriggers, downriggers, and a livewell. A first mate will also be joining your trip.
You can target Snapper, Grouper, Barracuda, Wahoo, Kingfish, Black Seabass, Mahi Mahi, and more. You’ll catch them on light and heavy tackle by bottom and deep sea fishing, trolling, jigging, and even kite fishing. You can keep all the fish you catch if you want to and you can bring kids on your trip.
You will only need to bring some snacks and drinks as Captain Austin will take care of everything else. He covers all the tackle, lures, live bait when possible, catch cleaning, as well as fishing license.

5 of the 6 people in our group had never been deep sea fishing. Luckily our captain was a true expert. He helped us all feel comfortable and confident and we had so much fun! They were absolutely amazing with the kids but made sure the adults were engaged and having a great time too. Our 13 year old was dying to catch sharks, so catch sharks we did! This was so memorable and I am sure we will be back for the longer trips for years to come!

The weather finally broke after several terrible days. We didn't catch a lot of fish, but Captain Keith and Mate John did an amazing job. They took care of us and did their best to find the fish. I would love to do it again!!

We had a great nearshore trip. The Captain and Mate were both great and the boat had plenty of space with comfortable seating as well. ae’d definitely recommend and will be back in the future.

we started off slow trolling for kings no action. the captain made the right call to head alittle further out and bottom fished red snapper and that made the kids day getting to tug on some big fish. also finished the day with a king fish definitely recommend getting out there with these guys!

Captain Austin grew up charter fishing with his uncle around 2010, where he began working as a mate. He continued working alongside his uncle until he was old enough to obtain his Captain’s License, and he has been running fishing charters ever since. There is nothing Captain Austin enjoys more than putting clients on fish and helping them create unforgettable experiences on the water.
