Captain and crew were very helpful. We got straight on the boat and away we went. We caught some Jack right off the bat and they made ceviche with the first fish. It was very delicious and as fresh as fresh could be. We went a bit deeper out and caught a Rooster fish that was very cool. All in all, a great trip, very personable, professional and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend.

Today was a pleasure! We had a fishing excursion with Captain Alex and Sol Y Mar and caught the a 40 pound Grouper. We also caught several other fish. The boat was in great shape and the Captain was very helpful, and knowledgeable on where to find the fish! Him and his first mate Jesus were friendly and made us feel completely welcome on their vessel.  Thanks Sol Y Mar! Amazing trip.

Had a great day on the water with capt Alejandro and crew. His fishing knowledge mixed with his hospitality makes it unbeatable. It was my lady’s first major salt water trip and he made sure she was comfortable at all times. I specifically asked to find a specific species and the captain tried all day looking for me.
