Capt Mike took my son and I out. He was really amazing. He helped us at every step of the way (we are not great fishermen!). It was one of those days when the fish were nibbling but not biting. We could see other captains giving up and going home. Mike kept us out beyond the time we had paid for, to make sure we caught some fish. We probably would have caught more if I hadn’t been over excited and struck too soon on a couple.

When I booked the charter with Lake Toho Guides, I wrote that I had two goals I wanted to achieve during my 4 hour charter. First I wanted to catch multiple bass. Secondly, I wanted to learn and practice some techniques using artificial lures. Captain Devin and I were able to start at 6:00 and he put us on the bass within minutes of leaving the dock.  I landed 15 in 2 hours. I missed 7-8 more. We moved on to work artificial lures and the bit slowed but the effort to get us on the bass did not. I was able to boat two more. The conversation and teaching was great. Pictures were an added bonus. I hope I get the opportunity to book another charter with Captain Devin
