We had a great day out with Strawberry Island Fishing Charter in Tofino. We caught some solid salmon and halibut, and the crew knew exactly where to take us. What a great day of fishing! My wife and I went out on June 22nd and the weather was not the best some large swells but captain Joel made the most of it. Navigating through a lot of debris Luc kept our lines clean and about 2 hours in we doubled up with 2 large salmon! Reels screaming Joel and Luc walked us through making sure we didn’t miss a fish of a lifetime. Unfortunately one salmon got off but We landed a 25lb King! She was a beaut! Luc and Joel never gave up. We ended up with 10 fish between myself and my kids. The gave us a bit of everything the west coast could offer. Changing locations for different species and constantly changing up gear to make the best of our trip. My kids had a great time and they gave the upmost time patience and respect to my family. I would highly recommend Strawberry Island.

Luc & Joel are amazing captains, super knowledgeable and welcoming not to mention hilarious.We went for lingcod and came back successful and had an unreal day on the water. We went out on their boat the Screamin’ Eagle. It was super comfortable, lots of room and very organized. If you’re thinking of booking with Strawberry Island Fishing Charters I highly recommend it. We can’t wait to be back!

Absolutely fantastic day with captain joel and luc. They took us to the hot springs first thing in the morning which is a great way for start the day and wake up get to take a 30 minute walk to a beautiful hot spring, very relaxing nice way to reconnect with earth. Than went fishing joel and luc are amazing fishing teachers as well as very funny and overall great to be around.
