I highly recommend this fishing charter. The crew was amazing with our party of 9. Captain Clay was great, the First Mate Nick went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed while the rest of the crew members (Erik and Chuck) made it memorable and relaxed as well. The trip was so enjoyable that 4 of us stayed to do the night fishing and First Mate Nick made us feel like part of the family!!! Can’t wait to take this charter again!!

Took my dad on this fishing trip for his 80th birthday. We were surprised at how many people were on the boat, but everyone had their own designated space to fish, poles and bait were provided, and the crew were super attentive to everyone and their needs! The waves were pretty rough the day we went, probably because of the winter season, and several people on board seemed to get really sea sick and had to stay inside (which was air conditioned and had plenty of seats to sit or even lay down if you needed to). Bathrooms were relatively clean. People were more lucky on the sides of the boat than the back (we were at the back and barely got even any nibbles), so try to get there early and reserve a seat somewhere on the side of the boat. Rick was our favorite of the crew and was very kind and helpful!!
This was a great deal! $100 total for two people, a few miles off shore, and easy fishing with poles and bait included? Can’t be beat!

Ended up going on the smaller boat charter for sport fishing instead of the party boat trip, and I would completely recommend it! My goal was to catch dinner, and we certainly did that! I booked this trip alone, so it was fun to chat with and get to know the others in our small group! We started catching fish pretty fast, Mahi Mahi, Tuna, and some others. Nothing crazy - no sharks or sailfish, but for my first time fishing in saltwater, it was a trip I’ll never forget. Easily, then best activity I’ve done on vacation! Heads up if you get seasick though, it was a somewhat bumpy ride, but if your prepared it’s not bad. Chatted with all the guests, took fish home for dinner, and plan to do this again next time I come down! They do such a great job and make it pretty easy, baited hooks for us, set everything up- I’d give 10 stars if I could! Also- don’t pay to park, they will give you a parking pass.

Our family was indecisive on what boat to choose.. so very glad we chose this one! First thing we was greeted upon arrival immediately..  Captain was hands down amazing very friendly and carried conversations with us all along the trip always made sure we were all enjoying ourselves. My kids wanted to sit on the loft to see the ocean view from above he aloud them to do so that way they had a good view for the entire trip! The (Mates) which are the boat workers that help you bait up if needed and help you pull your fish in if needed.. I’d say their was a total of 5 of them and every single one was also amazing and friendly.. they were all very nice and caring workers! I would def do this again in fact we are the next time we come down. The ride was ab 4 to 4 1/2 hours long which is the perfect amount of time! Some of us were still in the middle of fishing when the time was up he literally let us all stay out an extra 30-40 mins to finish up bc everyone was enjoying themselves!  You share the boat with other families but it’s so big you don’t even have to be close to anyone else if you don’t chose too there is also a place up high 3rd floor for smokers which I found nice bc I like cigs lol. There’s also a restroom for men’s and women’s and sinks to wash your hands! And even if someone in your group doesn’t want to fish you could give your pole to a family member they can have more than one. I didn’t fish I just went with my family my husband had mine and his pole I just chilled and enjoyed the ride out on the ocean. 😁 also they say they take the boat out ab a mile off shore line I’d say it’s a tad bit longer than that unless it just felt that way lol but we wasn’t mad we wanted out as far as possible… oh and if the fish don’t bite at whatever location he chooses to stop he will take you to a different spot until you all find the right biting spot I thought that was nice as well.. And for the price and it being Florida I’d say it was a steal and we’ll worth it! Everyone in the family will enjoy.

Switched to sportsman charter at the last minute to help them fill the boat

Originally signed up for the bottom fish party boat, but when we arrived they had two open slots on a sportsman fishing boat which we opted to take instead. Best decision of vacation! The crew hustled to make sure everyone was comfortable and did an amazing job not only finding the fish but helping everybody be successful. 

We caught a huge barracuda and several other various sizes of mackerel. My 16 year old son reeled in a 50 inch king mackerel, first mate said that it would be a tournament winning champion.  Then, right before we were ready to wrap up our day, our boat caught I believe a 7 foot amber shark. The first mate explained the importance of their conservation and education efforts and gave them the opportunity to buy a tag that would carefully be attached to the shark so that scientists could track it’s movements and it also allowed the couple that caught the shark to name it! So cool. 

We originally went to Florida so that my son could participate in a Boy Scout camp, of which he had a phenomenal time. We then spent four days sightseeing southern Florida, he said the sportsman fishing was a very close second to the amazing time he had a scout camp. Totally worth the money we put into it.  what an incredible experience.  Making plans to go back next summer with the family
