The crew was honestly trying hard to do its job just that, unfortunately, it wasn’t what we had expected from this trip. The crew fully dialed on catching a trophy fish: trolling, live bait, heavy rods, they set the lure, do everything necessary and we just watch them doing all that, and in case they was a bite, they would hand us the rod to pull fish in. That’s probably what most tourists want. Instead, what we wanted was light gear and active fishing of jack, bonito, dorada, rock fish or anything in that class. The crew gave us a chance to catch a few doradas this way (albeit with a heavy rod) but that was intended just as a little side game. Therefore, from our point of view, the day was totally wasted.
