We had a great outing with Captain Randy and his first mate Laci! They both worked heroically, and patiently, to ensure we found the fish, and put something in the cooler for dinner.
We were seeking red snapper for dinner - we found enough to eat, as well as a few Spanish mackerel. We also found a bunch of tiny ones we threw back for our next trip.
Captain Randy and Laci did their best to coach all of us up on the techniques we needed to land our dinner.  Despite a fickle bite, all 4 of us brought in fish. But, the fish weren’t cooperating as much as Captain Randy wanted - we moved from spot to spot often, seeking better results. We tried multiple baits, different rigs, bottom fishing, drifting, trolling… Captain Randy and Laci deployed a full arsenal of tricks to help the 4 of us have a great time.
We’d recommend Captain Randy to anyone looking to have fun on the water!

My two boys and I recently embarked on their first-ever fishing charter with Captain Randy and his first mate, his daughter Laci, and it was an unforgettable experience! From start to finish, the trip was a perfect blend of excitement, learning, and family fun.

Captain Randy is a seasoned pro whose passion for fishing and deep knowledge of the waters shone through. He was patient and engaging, making sure my boys (ages 10 and 11) felt comfortable and excited. He took the time to explain the basics of fishing, from baiting hooks to spotting the best fishing spots, which was perfect for first-timers.

Laci is an absolute gem. Her energy and enthusiasm were contagious, and she connected so well with my boys. She helped them reel in their first catches, cheering them on with genuine excitement that made their day. Her skill on the boat was impressive, handling everything from setting up gear to untangling lines with a smile. It was heartwarming to see the father-daughter duo work so seamlessly together, creating a welcoming and fun atmosphere.

The highlight for my boys was reeling in some fish and a baby shark (!!)  that had them grinning ear to ear.  The boat is clean, well-equipped, and felt safe, which is reassuring as a mom.

All in, this was a fantastic introduction to fishing for my boys, and they’re already begging to go back. If you’re looking for a fishing charter that’s perfect for families or first-timers, I can’t recommend them enough! Five stars!

Captain Randy was wonderful! My
Husband gets motion sickness and so does our 12 yr old son but they really wanted to go on a charter - Randy said he would work with us and he did just that-fortunately with Dramamine and behind the ear patches we were good to go!  He had live shrimp for us to fish with and got us out by the rigs - positioned perfectly we all caught fish including our 9 yr old daughter and Captain Randy was incredibly patient. 
He filleted our fish when we got back to the dock and we had a wonderful fish nugget dinner when we got home!  A big success and lasting memories - would definitely book again!

This trip will go into the core memory bank for our family.  We have two kiddos, nine and thirteen, and we have NOT one complaint.

We caught more fish than we could eat! He cleaned them for us and gave us some tips for cooking.

The boat was comfortable! We felt safe! We were lucky enough to have his wife Sandy accompany. She was the loveliest! Captain Randy was inviting and even when I snagged my line he didn’t seem the least bothered. He wasn’t bothered the next time either!
The days leading up to our date he kept an eye on the radar and was able to make an adjustment. He swapped our days for the better experience!
Captain Randy loves fishing and it shows!  We will be booking again!

Randy and his daughter made this an amazing experience for both me and my son! Super down to earth folks and they know what their doing! We went with his recommendations as to what kind of fish offered the most action and he did not disappoint, we were hooking fish left and right! He even cleaned and the filleted the fish we caught and we were able to take it home for dinner! The only thing I’d do differently next time is book the 4 hour trip instead of 2 because we had a blast! Captain Randy is legit and we’re looking forward to going out on the water with him again!
