We left the marina before 6AM when things were really getting busy. Fresh bait was purchased on our way out from some very fearless bait fishermen! We immediately started trolling, Guillermo set up a spread of lures and Capt Martin manned the live bait rods. Juan and Martin did a great job getting us on fish right away. Boat was a great size for the 3 people in our group.  We even saw 4 Killer Whales. We had all the fish filleted by the time we’re back at the dock. Make sure you bring enough ice to keep the meat cool this time of year. Great morning of fishing!

The original boat that I booked was not available so I was upgraded to a larger boat at no additional charge. Went out on the bucanero with captain Martin and mate Noel. I was a little skeptical at first when almost all of the posts made a right turn at the arch and went up the Pacific side, but we went left. We had the best time! All four of us caught fish! The captain even kept us out a little longer so we made sure we all caught something! Great team

The crew was very friendly and did a great job. We did everything we wanted to even though the water was choppy. We caught fish, saw whales and turtles, fed a sea lion and had the best day. We kept our catch and had it cooked at the restaurant the crew recommended and it was delicious.
