Forest and his assistant, Ben, provided excellent service!  We went fishing three days.  Caught our limit of halibut along with other great fish each day.  Forest would frequently stop the boat and allow us to take pictures of otters and whales.  Ben did an amazing job of filleting the fish.  By the time we returned to the dock, Ben had the fish already filleted and ready to transport.  It was an amazing trip with awesome memories!!!!!

We had an incredible halibut fishing trip! The captain and deckhand were top-notch—knowledgeable, friendly, and worked hard the entire day. Our group had a blast and ended up limiting out on halibut and rockfish,  landed cod and salmon. The whole experience was well-organized, and you could tell they really knew the waters. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a solid day on the ocean with a crew that knows what they’re doing.

Forrest loves to fish and it’s not just about just getting fish in the boat. When you fish with Forrest you are part of the team and his experience and knowledge of the waters and fish are exceptional. The bonus was that we slayed them. What a First-Class Fishing experience from beginning to end! On the way out we enjoyed a little whale watching, fish jumping and soaked in all the breathtaking beauty that is Alaska.  The Captain and First Mate were “First Rate” and led us right to the perfect catching spots. My family and I had an amazing time fishing for halibut on the Black Pearl with Captian Forrest and his first mate, Ben. Their expertise in finding the best spots helped us catch not only our limit of halibut but also rockfish, cod, and salmon. They made sure everything went smoothly, and we truly enjoyed their company. Overall, it was a fantastic day on the water — pleasant, productive, and so much fun!
