    September fishing trip

    6 Hour Trip • 2 adults

    Captain was amazing! Arrived late at night and he gave us great instructions beforehand which made our night a breeze and we felt as if we were home. Woke up early, was offered coffee, sat on the porch and just talked. We had a BLAST fishing, captain was knowledgeable of any and all great spots to fish, kept tabs on weather, and made sure we had the best time. 10/10 recommend and maybe youll just get lucky and get to play fetch with the sweetest dog! 🐶 We will be back! 🎣

    Great fishing trip with Captain Peyton

    My husband, son, & I had the best fishing trip with Captain Peyton. He is very laid back and truly loves what he does. He worked hard to make sure we had the best experience and caught fish. We caught a ton of fish and we enjoyed every single moment of our fishing trip. He shared information with us about the area as we fished and recommend some great places to eat. He really is a good person and I think he had a good time watching us catch so many fish. We left with a good cooler full of filets and it's because he knows his business!

    Knew Where the Fish Were

    6 Hour Trip • 3 adults

    Captain got us to where the fish were located in a short distance, kept us out of the storms, and filled the boat with our limts. Can’t complain about that.

    Fun trip catching redfish with Peyton

    6 Hour Trip • 2 adults

    My wife and I had a great time catching redfish with Peyton. He met us in Boothville and we followed him to the launch area on the Gulf. he wisely picked a spot that was protected from the wind and had lots of fish. We caught our limits of slot fish plus a bunch of others. Peyton was a good communicator and knew a lot about the area and wildlife. His price was affordable and he provided the live bait and fuel. Give him a try and you will be happy.

    An incredible day of fishing!

    6 Hour Trip • 3 adults • 2 children

    My sons (11 and 7) had the *best* day fishing with Captain Peyton! Peyton was extremely patient with them and was a excellent instructor for all of us. And, wow, did we catch fish! We caught so many fish that we all lost count. One of my sons caught a fish that weighed almost half as much as he does. I'm certain that my boys and I will be talking about this trip for years. We would all highly recommend chartering a trip with Tushhog Fishing!!

9-22-26 Fishing Report Had several trips the past week. Ee caught some real good redfish reaching 22lbs. Several top slots at 26 to 27 inches. Still lots of small reds eating everything thrown at em. Its getting close to fall and the trout should show up soon. I can't wait!

Limited Out on Slot Fish Morning

Fished Travis, Ron and Chris this morning. Caught fish almost every cast, no kidding. Lots of undersized which is a great sign. Landed on a few schools of slots and limited out by 10:30 am. Awesome trip with these guys!

Consistent Reds, Nice Black Drum

8-9-2026 Fishing Report Made several trips over the last week. The trout have been tricky. We have managed a few. The reds are consistent with hundreds of unders caught and released. A good sign for spring fishing. We have landed some really nice ones in the middle of the small ones. Added a 30lb black drum, shark and many othet species.

Fishing is on fire right now. The last 2 days produced trout limits with some Tushhogs included. Calmer weather makes for easy fishing.

It had been a week of redfishing. Had good tide and low winds. We found em early and had limits nearly each day. Quality fish too. Probably a dozen over 26 inches.
