Trip Summary

It had been a week of redfishing. Had good tide and low winds. We found em early and had limits nearly each day. Quality fish too. Probably a dozen over 26 inches.

Catching up on reports. Last few trips have been really good. Catching plenty of fish mainly trout and redfish. The groups have been outstanding. Lots of laughs and great conversation.

The trout bite has become pretty consistent. Catching large trout on the oyster reefs. Redfish have been scattered lately but managing to catch some nearly each trip. The weather is settling down for the summer pattern but still got to watch for the T- storms.

Its been a crazy April. The weather as usual has been all over the place. Fishing mostly in 15 to 20 kt winds with some days at 30 kts. Still catching fish every trip and it is getting better and better. Trout are showing up and found schools of trout yesterday and of course the nuisance gaff top mixed in but a heck of a fight. Reds seem plentiful with lots of fish just under 18 in. Only means there will be plenty next month.
