We booked a trip in December right before Christmas as our family gift. We have never been deep sea fishing before. I was worried, being so chilly in December, that the fishing would be slow. Justin did a FANTASTIC job for us. We caught more fish than we could count. Justin made sure we always had the right bait/lure we needed and found the “sweet spots” frequently! When things slowed down, action wise, he would move us to another location. The afternoon was well spent…..So were our arms from all the fish we caught.!!! It was an amazing experience! Justin even cleaned and fillet the fish we kept. He made our first experience an absolute joy! Highly recommend BreakDay Charter when you’re ready to hit the open water any time of year!

YOU.HAVE.TO.GO.WITH.CAPTAIN JUSTIN!!!  This man is awesome to fish with.  It’s not about the fishing, it’s all about YOU and what will make YOU happy.  Truly a wonderful day of fishing and catching.  I’ve been chartering boats off the NC coast for about 8 years and this is the first time I can say, “I’ll be back to charter with you again”.  He put us on the fish immediately and a bite within the first 30 SECONDS of casting the first reel.  At times, we had to catches at the same time….kept us busy!

  Captain Justin was a delight that interacted well with all of our family members.  He is a great guy with a good sense of humor and loved helping the novices in our party catch fish,  He is also knowledgeable about the area and shared much knowledge about the marine life of the area. 
      His boat was clean, very capable and well equiped.  He got us on fish quickly and we caught a bunch.  We couldn’t he happier or more satisfied with our experience.  We highly, highly recommend booking a trip with him.  You won’t be sorry.

We caught several fish, from sharks, blues, spanish mackerel and juvenile grouper to 4 flounder that weighed 18 lbs.  Two of those were my first citations and I have been fishing flounder for over 30 years.  Captain Justin spent 2 hours catching bait and didn’t count that time towards our fishing time.  We had a 9 year old that the Captain took under his wing and he couldn’t stop talking about the trip.  We will definitely be calling Justin in the near future and I strongly endorse him for all potential charter needs.
